The Club is in the very fortunate position of having 2 qualified and experienced netball coaches:

Karen Newman

Karen Newman – Level 2

Karen has been playing, umpiring & coaching netball for 32 years. Karen was one of the founding members of NOA NC originally called Bodicote Ladies. Karen took on the responsibility of coaching her club and became qualified 20 years ago. Karen’s involvement with netball really took off when her two daughters started playing. One of her daughters was selected for the U16 County Squad and this is when Karen became involved at county level. She coached the U16 squad with Lesley for many years and it was only recently when wounties were disbanded in favour of club netball that she ended her time with the county. Karen is still coaching & umpiring at club level.

 

 

 

Maggie Paynton – Level 1

Maggie, like Karen has been playing, coaching and umpiring for many years. Maggie was the other founding member of NOA NC and is now the club’s Chair person. Maggie became involved with coaching when Karen’s time was taken up with county. Maggie has been coaching club netball for 30 years and occasionally she still takes the court for a quarter or two!
