NOA Netball Club, Banbury
Established over 25 years ago, NOA netball club started off as a small Sunday league team called Bodicote Ladies. The club was taken over by two of its players, Maggie Paynton and Karen Newman, and developed into what is now the most successful netball team in Banbury.
Many of NOA’s original players are still part of the club today either playing, umpiring, coaching or managing, and this is testament to the strength of the club. We are as much about socialising and fun as we are about competition, and because of this we grow in size every year.
The club trains on a Tuesday evening at North Oxfordshire Academy in Banbury (7:30pm in summer, 8pm in winter).
We have one senior team that plays in the Oxfordshire League, and three senior and two junior teams that play in the Cherwell League on a Sunday, so whether you are looking for some serious competition or are just developing as a player there is something for everyone.
If you’re interesting in joining the club, or perhaps just popping along to a training session to see what we are all about, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org
